Made of found bottles, the architecture of this house recalls bottle houses made in West Africa and the American south. Many of us live in houses with large glass windows but few of us would live in an entirely transparent dwelling.
“Houses are vessels,” says artist Mildred Howard, “they hold dreams and memories.” They can also hold secrets, which might be revealed in a house like this.
