I got this from a very long time friend. It's now in my studio.
Aqua, the color of old bottles and sea glass is a one of my favorite colors. Picking up this bottle made me wonder about the story of the color of aqua. Aqua is Latin for water. In Egypt, aqua was a sacred color associated with the god of the Nile River, Hapy, and was used in the decoration of temples and tombs. The psychology of the color states it is associated with recharging the spirit, replenishing energy levels and provoking positive thought. It also suggests creativity and self-expression.
