TELL US

A STORY

Everyone is a storyteller. People connect through storytelling.

SHARE A CREATIVE RESPONSE INSPIRED BY A BOTTLE FROM THE COLLECTION AND WE WILL SHARE IT IN THE STORY ARCHIVE.

(Email us to receive a bottle: SpokaneBottleProject@gmail.com)

THESE BOTTLES WERE TOSSED, BURNED, AND BURIED IN THE EARLY 20TH CENTURY AS TRASH.  AFTER DECADES UNDERGROUND, THEY WERE COLLECTED AS TREASURE.

WE HOPE TO DISTRIBUTE WHAT REMAINS OF THE COLLECTION IN A WAY THAT WILL CONNECT PEOPLE AND PLACES THROUGH IMAGINATION.  THIS SITE IS MEANT AS A SPACE WHERE RESPONSES INSPIRED BY THE COLLECTION AND THE COLLECTOR CAN BE TOLD AND HEARD.

*Handle with care: As with many antiques, these bottles were unearthed from various sites around Spokane, and were often buried before there were regulations, and alongside things that may now be understood as toxic. It is not recommended they be used for consumption of any kind.
